Sorry once again I have been distracted from redesigning my website - this time by the birth of my beautiful daughter Rylee. The full story on that is available at http://www.rylee.com.au
In between nappy changes I intend to get this site up and running again. For the time being I am focusing my energies on the great outdoors working in the world of location sound with some wonderful people! Hoping to generate more work here on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane whilst maintaining contacts in Sydney sees me on a lot of aircraft (over 110 flights last year alone!) Ideally with Rylee on board now I can do a bit more closer to home so I have signed up with Calling All Crew as my agent and I have put together a little self promotion at http://www.soundo.com.au.
My lecturing services have expanded to include the International Film College here on the Gold Coast and I am in discussion with the Queensland School of Film and Television to look after Audio Post Production next semester. I also hope to continue my 2 year association with SAE World Headquarters in beautiful Byron Bay this summer
In the meantime marvel at the artwork of my talented friend and collegue Max Fulcher, also explore his new world (and obsession) of Max's Orchid House blogs, take a look at some of the equisite ceramic creations by Michael Pugh at http://www.michaelpughpottery.com.au
and I will plug a few of my recent creations like the OK! Magazine website, Catalina Restaurant Rose Bay, Mediaweek and my perennial favourite clients at RMK Voice Productions.
I have just begun to rework the site for the amazingly talented Keith Scott KeithScott.com and Nexus Networks get a new makeover as well.
I know we are in the midst of the largest GFC we have known but I feel strangley positive about it all. Perhaps it is the unadulterated perfection of my beautiful little girl or maybe the chance to get out and work with some lovely people doing location sound recording, it could also be having clocked up over 25 years of working with some incredibly talented and genuinely lovely people that gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Whatever it is I wont argue and just hope it continues!
Now that we have a happy contented baby who loves to sleep and travel we are looking forward to getting out and about and especially visiting our friends Eden and Rebecca at HunterStay in the beautiful wine district of Broke, Hunter Valley NSW and making use of one of the many fabulous properties they manage there so we can get out, breathe some country air and maybe even sample a local wine or two!
Hope your world is as happy as mine right now...
Cheers!
